Our Mission

Classroom Champions mission is to build the confidence, perseverance, and fundamental skills students need to succeed through a proven curriculum rooted in the mentorship and mindset of elite athletes.

From Our Leadership

Over a Decade of Foundational Work

Building Classroom Champions as the co-founder and CEO over the past 12 years has been the honor of a lifetime. The long nights, the grit, the unwavering focus. It’s all led to the life-changing organization we are today.

Now, as I step into the role of Board Chair, I’m energized to support Seth Rosenzweig’s bold vision as our new CEO. His leadership and deep experience in mission-driven work have already sparked momentum across our team, board, and partners.

In a world where our kids face more pressure than ever, our mission has never been clearer: empower them to thrive, on the next test, and in the biggest challenges of their generation.

This is a pivotal moment. And we’re ready to push forward, with world-class programs and an unshakable commitment to students across North America.

Fueling the Flame

It is an incredible honor to step into the role of CEO at Classroom Champions, an organization that has transformed so many lives over the past 12 years. The vision, passion, and hard work poured into this mission have created a foundation that inspires students, supports teachers, and empowers communities across North America.

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of mentorship and the strength of our programs to make a lasting difference in the lives of students. With the continued dedication of our staff, Board, athlete mentors, and partners, I know we can push even further - helping children develop the skills and mindset they need to thrive both in the classroom and in life.

What is the
Champion Mindset?

World-class athletes learn from both their successes and failures while trying to accomplish their goals.

Classroom Champions believes an athlete’s approach and outlook or the Champion Mindset, helps them thrive.

Embracing the Champion
Mindset Means

Staying connected to yourself, your community, and the perspectives of others.

Having the confidence to chart your own path and live life on your own terms.

Being resilient enough to take on challenges head-on.

Why does the Champion Mindset Matter?

Embracing a Champion Mindset means adopting a positive attitude in the face of challenges, learning valuable lessons from setbacks, and committing to continuous improvement. This mindset helps you learn and apply critical life skills such as leadership, teamwork, goal-setting and perseverance, which help you thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Meet the Champions

Across our community—whether in the classroom, on the field, or beyond, the athletes, educators, and students demonstrate what it means to embody the Champion mindset.
“I will never be able to say enough about Classroom Champions. When the going gets tough, Classroom Champions in some capacity, shows up and raises me up every single time. The family that has emerged from this beautiful community is above everything. My students and I get to interact with an elite athlete, learn from their unique experiences and be inspired by their shared stories and connection.”
Jennifer MacIsaac, Special education teacher in Gananoque, Ontario
The athletes are here to help you persevere through hard times and help you boost your confidence.”
Ryan, Grade Six
“It’s really rewarding to look back and think about the ways I’ve used the themes of the Curriculum in my real life. I might not have realized it at the time, but being able to pinpoint the moments when I set a goal and persevered for my mentees has allowed me to reflect on my experiences in such a meaningful and productive way. It’s so easy to remember the moments of failure, but this program, and especially the kids, have helped me reshape my mindset to understand the value I bring, win or defeat, to the world. And I’m here as a Mentor to help them understand their value.”
Dan Cnossen, 7x Paralympic Medalist, Para Nordic Skiing & Biathlon, Veteran SEAL Lt. Cmdr., Purple Heart & Bronze Star with Valor, Classroom Champions Athlete Mentor
